Balls and Bells

Updated: Jun 21

One of my most popular classes I've taught at handbell festivals (including National Seminar) is called "Balls!" It details a list of skill-building games that all use the same teaching tools: tennis balls. You can buy a bucket of 25 tennis balls at your local sporting goods store for around $30, or you can stop by any tennis club and ask for their discards. Most clubs are happy to load you up with as many tennis balls as you can carry out of there. While it's true that they are used and not as springy as they used to be, they have more than enough bounce for any of these games.
